How long will my dental implants last?
All-on-4 dental implants are made of titanium. With proper care, they can last a lifetime. All you have to do is treat your replacement teeth just like natural teeth: brush twice a day, floss at least once each day, and make sure to see us at least twice a year so we can detect and treat any oral health issues as soon as possible.
Are traditional implants "better" than All-on-4?
The only thing that makes one type of implant better than the other is the needs of the patient. All-on-4 is only for those who are missing a full arch of teeth on the upper or lower arch. However, a person who is missing all of their teeth could also choose to receive six to eight traditional implants per arch to support their denture. Dr. Collier will gladly answer your questions during a consultation, but generally speaking, patients who choose to support a full denture with All-on-4 implants will experience no difference in stability and other benefits than those who choose traditional implants.Have more questions?
